A new world of connection is appearing.
I received a Voice Memo from a friend in India yesterday, updating me on another friend who has been hospitalized with Covid. There was good news; she's out of the hospital and recovering fast. The sender lives in an ashram and has dedicated her life to spiritual practice. She also runs a successful natural grocery store in Ireland with over 100 employees. As her brief message wound down, she suddenly paused and said, "Oh, that's weird, my computer just turned itself on." After a brief silence, she exclaimed, "Now, that's really weird, it opened to ..." and she used a Vedic term, apparently the name of a healing program installed on her computer! What happened?
I see three possible explanations for what happened:
1. Total accident, chance, no meaning to what occurred.
2. My friend was totally tuned in energetically and the computer responded.
3. As she spoke in the Voice Memo, we were teamed up with her to transmit healing prayers to our friend and the computer joined in.
Magic is in the air. Not the air, actually, but in the energy field. What field is that, you might ask? How about what Carl Jung described as the "mass unconscious," which he described this way: "A group experience takes place on a lower level of consciousness than the experience of an individual. This is due to the fact that, when many people gather together to share one common emotion, the total psyche emerging from the group is below the level of the individual psyche." Many of us had been praying for our stricken friend, communing together in that deeper level. This is what we are exploring in the LoveCasting beta test, now underway with 34 volunteers. Results will be published in these pages in about a month. So, what are we trying to accomplish? We are experimenting with the notion that energy affects matter, particularly that directed prayer energy can produce a healing effect at a distance. This has already been proven, of course, and you can study the science here.
We are already connected, all of us. But what is the quality of energy flowing between us? When we become conscious that there is a potential value here and when we learn how to focus our energy in helpful ways, miracles can happen.
Whether we are conscious of our connection or not, it's real. We can experiment together in small groups to focus intention and produce healing results, as we may have done with the friend that I mentioned.
But we are ALL connected. Ultimately, this is what LoveCasting is about. We begin using "training wheels," consciously focusing on sending prayerful energy to each other. Eventually, we are blessing everyone unconsciously. And, the world changes.
